Moving day shouldn’t feel like you’re rolling the dice with your belongings. Here in Bannerman, families know they can count on us to handle their moves the right wayโno shortcuts, no surprises, just solid work from our skilled moving team who treats your stuff like it’s their own.
ย
We’ve been moving Bannerman residents for years, and we’ve learned that people want straight talk, fair prices, and movers who actually show up when they say they will.
ย
That’s precisely what you get when you work with us. Your grandmother’s china cabinet and your kid’s bike both matter to us, and we move them with the same care we’d want for our own families.
Look, moving is tough enough without worrying about whether YEG Movers knows what they’re doing. We’ve got this down to a science after handling hundreds of moves throughout Edmonton. Your Bannerman home has its own quirksโmaybe narrow hallways, steep stairs, or that awkward corner where the couch always gets stuck. We’ve seen it all and figured out how to work around it.
ย
Our crew shows up with the right equipment, not just whatever happens to be in the truck that day. We wrap your furniture properly, load everything so it won’t shift during transport, and take the time to do it right the first time.
Nobody wants moving day chaos, and that’s where our planning really pays off. We sit down with you beforehand and go through everythingโwhat needs special handling, when you need to be out, where everything goes in your new place.
ย
Our coordinators don’t just take your call and disappear. They check in two days before your move to confirm times and handle any last-minute details. This isn’t rocket science, but you’d be surprised how many moving companies skip these basics. We don’t, because we know the difference it makes when everything runs smoothly.
Some moves need extra attention, and we’re ready for that. Seniors moving to smaller places often need patience and understandingโwe get that. Heavy items like pianos or gym equipment require special techniques and equipment.
ย
We handle both without making you feel like you’re asking for favours. Our storage options work when your timing doesn’t line up perfectly, and our junk removal service means you don’t have to move things you don’t actually want. Simple solutions that make your life easier.
We back up our work with proper insurance and detailed records of what we’re moving. Our heated storage keeps your belongings safe from Edmonton winters, and our pricing is straightforwardโno hidden fees that pop up later.
ย
Bannerman residents recommend us to their neighbours because we do what we say we’ll do. That’s how we’ve built our reputation here, one satisfied customer at a time.
Bannerman sits in northeast Edmonton with mostly single-family homes from the 70s and 80s. The neighbourhood has mature trees, established yards, and that settled feeling that comes with time. Getting around is easy with Anthony Henday Drive nearby, so commuting anywhere in Edmonton is manageable.
ย
Families like the parks and green spaces, plus the quiet streets that feel safe for kids. It’s the kind of neighbourhood where people stay for years, which explains why we get so many referrals from happy customers who’ve moved here or within the area.

Other Areas We Serve:
Look no further! YEG Edmonton Movers offers top-notch long distance moving services tailored to meet your needs. Here’s a list of the most commmon locations for services to and from the Saskatchewan region:
Think of it as a grand adventure! Pack like you’re preparing for a treasure huntโeverything in one place, labeled with the enthusiasm of a pirate’s map. And remember, the more organized you are, the less time you’ll spend searching for that one crucial item that always seems to go missing.
Treat them like VIPs! Arrange a cozy ‘pet suite’ for them, complete with their favorite toys and snacks. Maybe even consider a ‘pet concierge’โaka, a friend whoโll make sure your furry friend gets their daily dose of cuddles and treats.
Turn packing into a game show! Challenge yourself to see how quickly you can pack a box or make it a competition with family members. The winner gets bragging rights and maybe even a homemade trophyโcrafted from packing peanuts, of course.
Get creative with your labels! Instead of just โkitchen,โ try โWhere the Magic Happensโ or โHome of the Tasty Delights.โ Itโll make unpacking a lot more fun and give your movers a chuckle or two.
Wrap them in bubble wrap and call it their โsecurity blanket.โ Just imagine theyโre on a royal journey, and youโre their trusty guardian ensuring they arrive in style, complete with an occasional pop for good luck.
Unpacking can be a race! Set a timer and see how much you can get done before it goes off. For extra fun, make it a family relay race where each person tackles a different room, and then celebrate with a dance party once youโre done.
Imagine youโre in an epic heist movieโstrategize your moves, recruit a team of strong allies (friends or movers), and make use of all the gadgets (dollies and straps) in your โtoolkitโ to maneuver your treasure safely through the labyrinth of doorways and hallways.
Unpack the essentials firstโyour favorite blanket, the coffee maker, and anything that makes you feel cozy. Itโs like setting up a mini-vacation in your new home before you dive into the daily grind.
Channel your inner action hero and tackle it with confidence. Whether itโs a broken item or a minor hiccup, handle it with flair and remember, every great adventure has a few plot twists. Just laugh it off and keep moving forward.
Think of it like planning a partyโbudget for the essentials and sprinkle in some fun extras if you can. Create a โMoving Budget Bingoโ where you mark off items as you handle them, and reward yourself with a small treat once you hit a bingo!
We suggest emptying out the contents of drawers into moving boxes to reduce the stress on the piece of furniture which is being moved. It is also harder to move a dresser full of clothes than empty; therefore it may increase the amount of time it takes to move the piece.
No, unfortunately for legal & liability reasons we do not allow customers to ride in the moving truck. We arrange a taxi or chauffeur for you, at an added cost.
For local moves payment is due at the completion of the move, or in some cases before the unload if the move is to go past business hours, or if the customer does not have a credit card on file. For long distance moves, payment is always due prior to the unload.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, American Express, Email Money Transfer, Bank Draft, Money Order. There is a processing charge of 4% on credit cards.
We absolutely do! All our trucks are wrapped in our company branding. During the busy season we do sometimes have to rent trucks although the rentals are still equipped with all the necessary moving equipment.
